Red Isle IT
Red Isle are a small IT consultancy based in the fishing village of Hopeman on the Moray coast, not far from the city of Elgin. We provide support and consultancy on a national basis.
Quality, reliability, security and freedom are our primary criteria. We work by a number of guiding principles:
- We believe that IT serves as a tool for business and should not be treated as an end in itself.
- There is a responsibility to explain IT in jargon-free terms, empowering the user with knowledge in an accessible way.
- Withholding IT knowledge for job protection is both harmful to ourselves and our customers. We believe that freedom in information benefits us all.
Free and Open Source software present an opportunity for dynamic small to medium companies to use enterprise software tools that would otherwise be prohibitively expensive. Business, be that for not-for-profit, sole trader or well-established company, presents us with problems that can often be solved with appropriate use of IT. We work with you to help solve these problems through understanding and strategic planning. From simple desktop installation and training to configuration of CRM software and office IT infrastucture, we can help and, with a background in data analysis, we can also help you understand the information you own.
